The Mount Royal Club is a private club at 1175 Sherbrooke St W in Montreal. In the staircase, a bronze plaque memorializes 15 men who died in WW1 – one assumes Club members or their sons.

According to the Club’s history, on 28 August 1914, the Princess Patricia Light Canadian Infantry Regiment Officers dinner (PPCLI) was held at the Club, on the evening before they set sail for Europe in WW1.
